This was a bizarre movie filled with sadistic torture and sex(1930's style). It's surprising that the Hays Office let them get away with what they did. Perhaps because Karloff was in it, they were more permissive. Myrna Loy's character was pretty risque' for the times, lusting after the hero. | |
