This was probably the first lighted viewmaster viewer. It is actually a unit made to fit a standard (for the time) viewmaster viewer with a custom fitted clamp that attaches to the viewer. The attachment uses two "D" batteries and a standard flashlight bulb. The battery terminals inside are like new, with no corrosion whatsoever, and the bulb still works.
